One of my very favorite pics of my visit to California. Heading out gold panning in Coloma (hey, I was embracing my inner tourist wholeheartedly :p ) with my mom, my sister, three of my nieces, and my boy. Didn't manage to find more than freezing feet while panning in the snowmelt American River, but I did get this awesome shot. :D
