My first tag..

Patty, over at Pipstitch, gave me my very first tag..so if you care to learn some totally random, useless information, read on!! :D

Rules first:

1. Link back to the person who tagged you
2. Mention the rules on your blog
3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours
4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them
5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.

Six unspectacular quirks (dh would wonder how on earth I will manage to keep it at only 6):

1. I don't like milk. This includes vanilla icecream, because it tastes like milk. But I eat it in my cereal, and add it to my drinks, and eat all other dairy. Just not plain milk. And I can drink it hot. But not cold, and GOD NO not lukewarm. Barf.

2. I wipe my kitchen counters in specific patterns. And rinse the cloth between specific numbers of wipes. I am working hard to change that, though, cause it's a lot easier to wipe down a mess if you don't have to do a whole set routine everytime you go to clean a spill.

3. I hang up my laundry with matching pairs of clothespins. Always. I will re-peg clothes, and hunt out the dropped ones, and swap other pins, to make sure I am always hanging with a matched set. And close enough doesn't cut it. If the blues aren't exact, I need to keep searching til I find the right one. It's really not all that much more work, and the results are worth it. :p

4. Last time I did a count, I had 73 windows open on my laptop. Drives dh completely bonkers. I tell him leave me alone...HE doesn't have to deal with them, so let me be! It also bugs the living crap outta him that my desktop is covered in icons, since I drop everything miscellaneous onto it, if it doesn't have a designated place yet.

5. I like weeds. I told my FIL recently, if it's green and happy, it stays. :p (I draw the line at stickers, though. I will ruthlessly root out anything like that, very successfully, usually, too.)

6. I hold my breath when I walk past someone on the street, til that gust of air that hits you after they pass has hit. I don't like unexpectedly inhaling someone else's smell.

There. Six little facts about me. Not scared, are ya?? Don't worry..I don't know where most of you live, anyway. :p

I tag:

Love your 6 quirks - especially the bit about the 73 windows and the files on the desktop. I drive techie Mr HB round the bend doing that. He says things about slowing down the performance of the machine (but all I hear is blah, blah, blah).

I'm still chuckling...you're too funny! 73 windows would probably drive me bonkers too but we all have our own little habits!

Just a little scary...(ahhhh run for the hills!) I would like to see what happens the day your clothespins are sabotaged and none of them match. Would it put you over the edge? Just the sick, sadistic voyeur in me, sorry ;-)
P.S. My 14 yr. old daughter has the same milk thing going on that you do - although she love vanilla ice cream. Hmmmmm...puzzling.

I have an issue with breathing other people's air too. We are both a couple of weirdo's.
THanks for tagging me. I will be thinking of my odd quirks all day:)

At first I was like, wait I've tagged you... but then I went back and searched and realized it was an award not a tag...

Can you imagine Grand Central Station? You'd turn blue... Most people don't bother me it's just the few with so much perfume on that you feel like you can taste it, or the ones that REALLY need a shower... At most I'll have 15 windows open or so. 73 is overkill! ;)

So you are very likely OCD, right? ;) Thanks for tagging me! I'm having a lot of fun coming up with my quirks right now. I'll probably post on Saturday, so be on the lookout!

Oh, and breathing other people's smells... I'm so there! Gross. It seems especially bad to me in places like the Barnes & Noble cafe where the air is cool and people are crammed together a bit. Someone walks by while you're drinking your latte, reading your magazine, and enjoying the seemingly sterile air--and ugh. There's no escape.

What if all the clothes pegs were the exact same colour? That might save you a bit of time!

I will get on to completing this tag after I have finished packing and moving boxes. : )

Oh you are a hoot! With you on the clothes pegs thing... I just love everything to match. Opposite on the milk though - cold plain milk is the ONLY way I like it, not flavoured, not milkshaked, not warmed or hotted, just cold cold milk.

I actually already did this tag (see My Profile, 7 Random Things About Me).

I love your No.3, it's sooooooo funny.

You crack me up girl - too bad if youre in a crowd - you may suffocate holding your breath that long :-)

:) The clothes pin thing has me scratching my head but the holding your breath thing...have you ever been to Disneyland? On Main Street? At 10pm? You would definitely pass out, then get trampled, for some reason the Happiest Place On Earth is ruthless when people are trying to leave it.

Other people's air doesn't really bother me but being in places like Disneyland at closing time when people you don't know are jostling you and touching you....cold sweats just thinking about it.

That was great! Really made me laugh :)

I also hate milk and won't even put it on my cereal, but will eat a little vanilla icecream (but just a little). My husband is the one that has a million windows open on his computer - and it drives me nuts :)

Thanks for the tag, will try to do that soon.

Thanks for the
