In the summer, a young(ish) man's thoughts turn to...really cold drinks.
Dh decided now was the time to try making ginger beer. Coincidentally, about ten minutes earlier, I had seen Aran from Cannelle et Vanille's post about her feature on Design*Sponge, all about making ginger beer. Obviously, it was meant to be.
So, results:
First bottle-Ew.
Second bottle-Not too bad; has potential; relatively drinkable.
Onward and upwards, my friends. :p

what is ginger beer?
Ginger beer? It's a Brit thing, a fizzy, alcoholic or not, depending on how you do it (we choose not), sweet drink, made from ginger, sugar, and yeast. Very yummy, if done right! :p Bundaberg ginger beer is an icon in Australia, and is the standard we are trying to reach, and then pass. :D
