It's Blog Action Day 2008 today. Topic, poverty. Not such a pretty topic. But our own actions can be as beautiful and amazing as anything else I post about here.
There are lots of ways you can help ease poverty.
You can stand up against it.
You can make a tiny, little loan, and change a family's life forever.
You can roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty, and volunteer at a soup kitchen or shelter.
You can help break the cycle of poverty through education, on a local scale, or a global one.
Soooo many ways to help..some big, some little. They all count. This year, I am once again Angeling for families this Christmas. It's not a grand statement, but it's something I really enjoy doing, and every little bit, right?

These are all really great suggestions. Angeling for a family at the holidays is such a wonderful thing; you can't help but feel good knowing that you are aiding a family who's holidays would otherwise be rather dim!
You rock for posting about this. We do what we can, right?
A beautiful post & such great suggestions. Thanks for adding your $2 comment on my blog!!
