Cactus beauty..

Cactus is NOT one of my favorite plants. The desert is not one of the places that appeal to me, even if I can appreciate the natural beauty of the place...I think being Pisces might play a little into that. I like my water. :p

My dd's little cactus just bloomed for the first time, though, and I have to admit, it really is a little thing of beauty. It just seemed to shine exuberant joy from it's little perch on my windowsill. It made four flowers all up, and I think it's done for now. But now I can't wait for next year. :)
