A 30something year old Mom of two, hanging out in this big old world.
This blog is a chronicle of whatever happens to catch my fancy, and a forum for tooting my own creative horn. :p
That really does look cool. I suppose you could get a similar effect by getting someone to henna your back but wow, that would take forever.
I have vague memories of some product, maybe in the 1980's? A sort of stick of sunscreen so you could draw designs on your body and then they wouldn't tan. I think the ad also suggested writing your phone number...
It certainly would take some dedication on one's part. How many hours would it take? Do you think you'd have to do it all in one go? Or have a helper line all the exposed bits for you. I can see why they recommend sunless tanner :)
Oh, yeah, for sure, it's my personal opinion they had the model lie veerrrrry stiiillll, and then they spray tanned her through the robe, probably with the robe glued down to the skin to keep the edges from bleeding. :p Reality is never as cool as the fiction, lol.
Hey i had a Barbie that did this - you put stickers on her and laid her in the sun. She changed colour but the stickered parts didn't, leaving a pattern when you took them off. Crazy- she also had a turning scalp!
